About lug2lug

The watch search engine that goes deeper

lug2lug is built for watch enthusiasts who care about the details that matter. Not just case diameter and movement type, but lug-to-lug distance, crystal shape, AR coating type, beat rate, and dozens of other specs that determine how a watch actually wears and performs.

Like PC Part Picker, but for watches

We built lug2lug because the watch world was missing a centralized, deeply filterable database. If you wanted to find every automatic diver under 40mm with a sapphire crystal and domed AR coating, you had to cross-reference forums, manufacturer PDFs, and retail sites.

Now you can filter by crystal type, AR coating, movement caliber, lug width, dial color, and more — then compare up to 4 watches side-by-side with highlighted spec differences.

Real secondary market data

We pull real sold prices from eBay completed listings to show you what watches actually sell for — not what dealers are asking. See average, median, low, and high prices with links to the actual listings. Track value retention over time and make informed buying decisions.

From Rolex to microbrands

Our database covers the full spectrum: luxury houses like Rolex, Omega, and Grand Seiko; mid-range Swiss brands like Tissot, Oris, and Longines; enthusiast favorites like Seiko and Orient; and the microbrand scene including Baltic, Lorier, Studio Underd0g, Zelos, and more. We believe a $400 microbrand diver deserves the same level of spec documentation as a $10,000 Swiss chronograph.

Built by collectors, for collectors

lug2lug started as a conversation about what tools the watch community was missing. We wanted something that combined the depth of WatchBase, the market data of Chrono24, and the comparison experience of PC Part Picker — all in one place with a modern interface.
