English watchmaker founded by Edwin Fear in Bristol in 1846, revived in 2016 by fourth-generation descendant Nicholas Bowman-Scargill. Fears produces small-batch, classically-styled mechanical and quartz watches — the Brunswick, Redcliff, and Archival Mid lines — assembled in Bristol with Sellita and ETA movements. One of the oldest watchmaking families in the UK.
