Fortis

Independent Swiss watchmaker founded by Walter Vogt in 1912 in Grenchen. In 1926 Fortis introduced the world's first wristwatch with John Harwood's automatic winding system. The brand has supplied the Russian/cosmonaut spaceflight program since 1994; the Cosmonauts Chronograph has flown aboard Mir and the ISS.
