Seagull ST1901
Seagull
Seagull's hand-wound column-wheel chronograph movement descended from the Venus 175 via the Tianjin factory's acquisition of tooling and plans in the 1960s. It is one of very few column-wheel chronographs available at budget prices, making mechanical chronograph ownership accessible to enthusiasts on any budget. The characteristic column wheel provides a crisper pusher feel than cam-actuated alternatives, and the movement has developed a cult following in the watch community.
