Ebel Sport Classic Chronograph Reissues
Ebel has reintroduced the iconic Sport Classic Chronograph with four new variants, each limited to 115 pieces to mark the brand's 115th anniversary. These modern interpretations aim to capture the spirit of the 1980s original, known for its association with pop culture and sports figures.
- Limited to 115 pieces per variant
- 40mm stainless steel case
- 11.6mm thickness
- 44.5mm lug-to-lug
- 50m water resistance
- Steel versions: €5,900
- Steel and gold versions: €8,900
The new case is 2mm larger than the vintage model but is rounder, preserving the overall silhouette while featuring signature bezel screws and pusher style.
The dial features a three-register layout with a date between 4 and 5 o'clock, and Roman numerals within the minute track.
The tachymeter scale is now positioned outside the minute track, differing from the original model's rehaut placement.
The two-tone models have yellow-gold-PVD counter rings, while the steel versions use rhodium-plated rings.
The blue dials on the steel model are matte and vibrant, while the two-tone version's dial is a glossy dark blue sunray.
The 11.6mm thickness is noted as impressively slim for a modern chronograph.
