Pequignet Royale Paris Chrono BPM
Pequignet has introduced a new chronograph that pays tribute to French Touch electronic music, featuring a unique beats-per-minute (BPM) scale on the dial's periphery. This scale functions similarly to a pulsometer but is designed to measure musical tempos, allowing users to calculate BPM by counting drum kicks. The watch combines this novel complication with a distinctive gradient dial and is powered by the brand's Calibre Initial automatic movement.
- Features a beats-per-minute (BPM) scale
- Price: EUR 6,950 / USD 7,950
- Available from October 15, 2026
- Limited to permanent collection
The BPM scale, ranging from 35 to 180 BPM, is displayed on the dial's periphery with turquoise markings and graphic sound bars resembling an audio equalizer.
The dial features a horizontal gradient shifting from electric blue at the top to black at the bottom, with snailed black sub-dials for running seconds and a 30-minute chronograph counter.
The case design includes recessed flanks, piston-style chronograph pushers, satin-brushed surfaces with polished bevels, and individually attached lugs.
The Calibre Initial is a slim 4.2mm automatic base movement enhanced with a cam-actuated chronograph module developed by Dubois-Depraz.
The watch is part of the permanent collection, not a limited edition, and is available from October 15, 2026.
