Jérôme Marcu, an experienced watchmaker with a background in automata and musical instruments, has unveiled his debut timepiece, the Marcu Initial. This time-only watch features a distinctive design, including a pine-needle motif dial and unique hands, reflecting his family's heritage and his extensive career working for prestigious watch houses.

The 40mm case is constructed from grade 5 titanium and features screw-on lugs, with a domed sapphire crystal extending over the bezel.
The dial has a pine-needle motif with two concentric rings, and the hands are tipped with triangle-cut diamonds.
The hand-wound JM01 calibre, measuring 37mm x 4.6mm, is decorated with Geneva stripes and features an elaborate symmetrical architecture.
The movement is regulated with the phrase 'réglé comme du papier à musique', a nod to the watchmaker's family background in musical instruments.
The movement beats at 18,000 vibrations per hour and has 19 jewels.
The limited edition is split into three variants: 11 pieces with an anthracite dial, 11 with a golden dial, and 11 with a deep blue dial.
