Garmin has launched the third generation of its Marq collection, featuring six distinct models: Adventurer, Athlete, Aviator, Commander, Diver, and Golfer. These new smartwatches utilize a novel nano molding technology for a thinner, more robust case design, enabling integrated LTE and satellite connectivity alongside traditional GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. Each model is tailored with specific bezels and software features for its intended pursuit, offering advanced functionality for outdoor activities, aviation, diving, and golf.

The Marq 3 collection utilizes a new nano molding technology that bonds a glass-filled polymer to titanium at the nanoscale, creating thinner cases with integrated antenna windows and eliminating traditional button holes for improved water resistance.
The Diver model features a fixed ceramic bezel with a 60-minute timer integrated into the display, and its buttons are rated for scuba, apnea, and snorkel activities up to 40 meters.
The Aviator model includes UTC markings, a UTC hand, flight mapping, and aviation weather features, while the Commander model adds night vision, stealth mode, and an Applied Ballistics solver.
All six models offer inReach connectivity for satellite messaging, live location sharing via Garmin Messenger on LTE, and an SOS function that connects to the Garmin Response coordination center.
Each model features a unique ceramic bezel inlay, a 1.4-inch borderless AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a speaker and microphone, an LED flashlight, an ECG app, and customizable watch faces.
The Athlete is priced at $2,500 on a silicone strap, the Adventurer at $2,700 on Italian leather, and the Golfer at $2,800 on a jacquard-woven strap.
The Aviator, Commander, and Diver models are each priced at $3,100, with the Diver featuring a silicone bracelet with a 15mm microadjust clasp.
