Daniel Roth Extra Plat Rose Gold With Gilt Dial
Daniel Roth has introduced a new variation of its Extra Plat dress watch, featuring a rose gold case paired with a black gilt dial. This iteration highlights a true gilt dial construction, where markings reveal the underlying gold after a galvanic coating process, set against an engine-turned dial base.

The gilt dial is constructed by masking positive markings on a solid 5N rose gold dial blank, galvanically coating the entire dial in black, and then removing the mask to reveal the underlying gold for the text.
The dial base is engine-turned by hand on a rose lathe, creating guillochage in a style characteristic of Daniel Roth.
Markings such as Roman numerals and the Daniel Roth logo are pad-printed with a pink varnish to protect them during electroplating, revealing the gold base after demasking.
The watch is powered by the ultra-thin, manual-winding Calibre DR002, developed and assembled at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.
The movement features a frequency of 28,800 VpH (4 Hz) and 21 jewels, with finishing including anglage and distinct bridge shapes.
The watch is presented on a calfskin leather strap.
