Svea Atelier Monolith
Swedish brand Svea Atelier has launched its debut watch, the Monolith, a quartz-driven dress watch inspired by mid-century modernist design. The collection features five variants, including stone dials in its Atelier Series, and draws clear inspiration from the Gérald Genta-designed Rolex King Midas.

The Monolith features a five-sided asymmetric case and dial, with a horizontally brushed finish on the case and bracelet, and polished bevelled edges on the bracelet links.
The integrated bracelet tapers on the left side, continuing the line of the case, and features curved C-shaped ends on individual links for comfort.
The watch is powered by the Ronda Slimtech Calibre 1062, a Swiss-made quartz movement with a quoted accuracy of -10/+20 seconds per month.
Design inspiration is drawn from the Rolex King Midas, with differences including a conventional 3 o'clock crown and a dial shape that follows the five-sided case.
The Atelier Series includes a Tiger Eye variant in a gold PVD-coated case and an Onyx variant with gold hands.
The Core Collection includes the Monolith Lattice with a silver linen-texture dial, Monolith Fjord with a deep blue gloss dial, and Monolith Oxblood with a gold PVD case/bracelet and dark maroon gloss dial.
