Keris Meca Tradition
Keris has unveiled the Meca Tradition, a limited edition mechanical sculpture that enlarges traditional watch movements to architectural proportions. This manually wound piece, measuring 220mm across and weighing 1.9kg, celebrates the golden age of pocket watchmaking with its gilded aesthetic and exposed, skeletonized architecture, allowing for full appreciation of its 86 components.

The Meca Tradition is a fully functioning manually wound movement enlarged to architectural proportions, inspired by the gilded brass movements of the golden age of pocket watchmaking.
The sculpture measures 220mm across, weighs 1.9kg, and comprises 86 individual components, offering a minimum power reserve of 50 hours while beating at 0.5Hz.
Its champagne-anodised aluminium plates provide a rich golden appearance, echoing historical pocket watch movements while maintaining a contemporary manufacturing approach.
The fully skeletonised architecture exposes every wheel, jewel, and pivot as the movement runs, allowing for full visibility of mechanical interactions.
The winding crown features a large handwritten-style “K”, a nod to the signatures master watchmakers traditionally engraved on balance bridges and cocks.
Materials include champagne-anodised movement plates paired with polished aluminium details, mounted on a brushed solid aluminium pedestal.
