Toledano & Chan has introduced two new iterations of its b/1 wristwatch, the "Dazzle" and "Double Dazzle." Both models feature a CNC-engraved "Dazzle" pattern inspired by WWI U-boat camouflage, designed to confuse the eye rather than conceal. The "Dazzle" is limited to 188 pieces, while the "Double Dazzle" with a diamond-set dial is limited to 12 pieces.
- Limited to 188 pieces (Dazzle)
- Limited to 12 pieces (Double Dazzle)
- Price: US$7,700 (Dazzle)
- Price: US$9,700 (Double Dazzle)
- 50-metre water resistance
The "Dazzle" pattern is CNC-engraved with an irregular composition of intersecting lines and planes, mixing brushed and sandblasted finishing.
The "Dazzle" camouflage inspiration was intended to disrupt the proportion, direction, and speed of WWI U-boats, making them difficult for the enemy to target.
The "Double Dazzle" variant features a pavé diamond-set dial incorporating approximately 350 natural stones.
The case and bracelet share dimensions and build with the b/1.3r "Ripple" model.
The raised lines of the engraving are brushed, while the lower surfaces are frosted with diamond dust.
The brand does not endorse swimming with the b/1 despite its water resistance rating.
