SC02C Space-Tested Chronograph
Konstantin Chaykin has introduced the SC02C Space-Tested Chronograph, a civilian version of a mechanical chronograph developed in collaboration with Roscosmos, Russia's space agency. This watch has undergone testing during actual spacewalks and is now available in a limited edition for collectors, retaining the professional-grade features adapted for everyday wear.

The sapphire crystal features a reverse 'dovetail' construction designed to prevent it from being forced out under pressure changes or extreme loads.
The SC02C has been tested during actual extravehicular activity (EVA) spacewalks, with prototypes venturing out with cosmonaut Oleg Novitsky.
The movement is based on the historic Poljot 3133, with 60 components manufactured by Konstantin Chaykin, and includes a stop-seconds function and micrometric adjustment for the balance.
The red-tipped hour hand is a motif carried over from Chaykin's Mars Conqueror Mk3 and functions as a backup timer when aligned with the bezel's 12.
The watch comes with two black fabric straps, including an extended version for fitting over a spacesuit.
The case is built to withstand a near-total vacuum of 1 x 10-6 atmospheres and undergoes rigorous testing including centrifuge, vibration, thermal extremes, and impact tests.
