Nomos Glashütte Metro Date Power Reserve
The Nomos Glashütte Metro Date Power Reserve has been updated with the new in-house caliber DUW 4701, which introduces a much-needed quick-set date function and increases the power reserve to 52 hours. This update addresses a long-standing critique of the model, making it a more practical choice for everyday wear. The refresh also includes a new "Ice Blue" colorway for the dial.

The new DUW 4701 caliber features sunray-striped decoration, differing from the typical Glashütte striping found on most Nomos calibers.
The movement measures 32.1mm in diameter and 2.8mm thick, maintaining the same dimensions as the outgoing DUW 4401.
The "Ice Blue" colorway features a palette of light blue, white, and green, including a unique power reserve indicator with two discs.
The original reference 1101 will receive the new caliber and is expected to keep the same reference number.
The previous generation's non-quickset date function was a significant drawback, requiring manual hand-winding past midnight to change the date.
