Across the sources

The mid-case is constructed from a proprietary composite material that includes volcanic ash, aluminized basalt fibers, calcium carbonate, and bio-sourced resin, giving it a marble-like appearance.

The watch features Montblanc's '0 Oxygen' technology, where the case is sealed in a nitrogen-filled, oxygen-free environment to prevent moisture and crystal fogging.

A bidirectional rotating compass bezel with a gray aluminum insert is included for navigation.

The MB 29.25 automatic movement operates at 4Hz (28,800 vph).

The dial displays world time via two rotating domed hemispheres, with continents in relief and a black line marking the Greenwich meridian; eight black dots identify the Seven Summits and Mont Blanc.

A sub-dial at 9 o'clock shows a second time zone, adjustable in one-hour increments.

The lume on the continents and second-time-zone hand glows blue, while the rest of the display lights up orange.
