King Seiko has introduced the VANAC “Cosmic Tokyo” HKF005, a new stainless steel model in the VANAC collection. This watch features a black dial designed to evoke the Tokyo skyline at night, with scattered glitter-like particles representing city lights or stars. It retains the distinctive angular case and integrated bracelet design of the VANAC line.

The dial features a dark "night sky" color with glitter-like particles that are not aventurine, designed to evoke Tokyo's city lights at night.
The dial's horizontal markings are almost imperceptible under certain lighting due to the full black dial, but silver sparkles are scattered across the display.
The case measures 41mm in diameter and 14.3mm in thickness, with a lug-to-lug measurement of 45.1mm, featuring sharp angles, polished shoulders, and faceted surfaces.
The watch is powered by the Seiko Caliber 8L45 automatic movement, based on the Grand Seiko 9S65, running at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
The integrated-style bracelet features faceted links and tapers towards a concealed folding clasp, complementing the angular case design.
The "Cosmic Tokyo" is described as the most thematically coherent of the VANAC launches, with the sparkly dial directly relating to the "Cosmic" name.
The dial's speckled finish mimics the Tokyo skyline at night, adding depth and detail, with horizontal grooves from previous editions being toned down.
The watch is not limited in production and is priced at EUR 3,400, available from October 1st, 2026.
