Berneron Mirage Miroir
Berneron has unveiled the Mirage Miroir, an inverted take on their Mirage 38 model. Instead of a traditional dial, the Miroir showcases its golden caliber 283 movement, featuring a mirrored architecture where the mechanics themselves form the display. This new model continues Berneron's philosophy of deriving case asymmetry from the movement's architecture.

The caliber 283 is a mirrored construction of the caliber 233, with the gear train running in the opposite direction to maintain a slim 7mm case thickness.
The movement's guilloché features a sector pattern with borders that approximately mark the hours, enhancing legibility.
Berneron has opted for a closed case back to maintain a low-profile feel and surprising heft, similar to the Montblanc "Unveiled Secret".
The watch introduces Berneron's first bracelet, an old-school seven-link construction with alternating finishes and a jewellery-style open-ended clasp.
The movement's guilloché serves as markers for reading the hours, and the visible seconds wheel acts as a running indicator.
The movement finishing includes guillochage, colimaçonnage, laser engraving, anglage, cerclage, traits tirés, and nuagage.
The asymmetric case design is derived from the shape of the movement, not an arbitrary external shape.
The brand plans to release one watch annually in the first week of September for the next ten years.
