The display utilizes FSTN (Film-Compensated Super-Twisted Nematic) LCD technology for improved contrast and legibility.
RZE claims the UTD-8000 platform has undergone extensive testing, including exposure to extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, and drops from over 30 feet.
The UTD-8080-ST model features a white Cerakote-treated case with contrasting black elements, described as a 'Stormtrooper' colorway.
The watch weighs 51.9 grams.
RZE plans to make the digital platform available to other independent and microbrand watchmakers.
UTD-8000 owners can have their original module replaced with the RZE-8080 for US$100, with service available from January 2027.
