Sport Traveller
Laurent Ferrier has introduced the Sport Traveller, a new watch that combines a travel time complication with a lightweight titanium construction. This model builds upon the brand's Sport Auto line, offering an additional complication within a similar case size and featuring a slate grey opaline dial.
- 42mm grade 5 titanium case
- 100m water resistance
- CHF 61,000 price
- 72-hour power reserve
The watch measures 42mm by 13.3mm thick in grade 5 titanium, only 0.5mm wider and 0.6mm thicker than the Sport Auto.
The dial is opaline (grained) 'Slate grey' with a sector-style crosshair, a printed minute track, and drop-shaped hour markers in 18k white gold with teal-colored and green-emission Super-LumiNova.
The Assegai-shaped hands are a signature of Laurent Ferrier and are lumed, and the watch retains a small seconds subdial.
The sloping shape of the date window is inspired by the hood scoop on the Porsche 935T that Laurent Ferrier raced in 1979.
The 24-hour disc window for the home time zone is intentionally widened.
The LF275.01 movement uses a lever escapement and has an upgraded beat rate of 4Hz, with a platinum microrotor.
The movement features a sportier horizontal satin finish with a ruthenium treatment and anglage.
The grade 5 titanium case has a mix of brushing and polishing, with a thin mid-case and somewhat domed dial side and rear.
