Gallet Returns for Its 200th Anniversary
Gallet, a historic Swiss watch brand founded in 1826, is relaunching in 2026, two centuries after its establishment. Acquired by Breitling in 2025, the revived Gallet will operate as an accessible luxury sibling brand, with Breitling manufacturing its new collections. The relaunch features four distinct lines: Flying Officer, Multichron Pilot, Multichron Sport, and Gallet Classics, all drawing inspiration from the brand's archives and historical use in aviation, racing, and exploration.

The Flying Officer, first introduced in 1939, featured a city ring and rotating bezel for pilots to track time across multiple locations.
The new Flying Officer Automatic models feature a date window at 3 o'clock, with one variant inspired by the patina of a vintage Flying Officer.
The Gallet Classics line includes three 38mm hand-wound chronographs inspired by historical models: Tribute to Multichron Yachting Big Eye, Tribute to Multichron 45, and Tribute to Silverlight.
The Tribute to Multichron Yachting Big Eye features an oversized regatta countdown counter designed for maritime timing.
The Tribute to Multichron 45 incorporates telemeter and tachymeter scales on a black dial for timing racing and aviation activities.
The Tribute to Silverlight draws design cues from the historical Multichron Navigator, featuring stylized numerals and a silver sunburst dial.
The core collections feature quick-release straps and bracelets for tool-free configuration changes.
