Czapek has introduced a limited edition of 10 Antarctique Tourbillon watches featuring an 18k yellow gold case and a "Victory Green" hand-guilloché dial. This colorway was initially developed for a unique piece commissioned by a collector, and its striking appearance prompted Czapek to produce a small series.
- Limited edition of 10 pieces
- Price: CHF 69,600 (rubber strap), CHF 73,600 (alligator strap), CHF 98,000 (gold bracelet) before taxes
The "Victory Green" dial features the registered 'Singularité' hand-guilloché pattern, which is inspired by astronomical singularities and created in collaboration with Metalem.
The dial's intense green hue is achieved through PVD treatment on a 'Secret Alloy' base, with matching green hour markers and partially skeletonized hands filled with Super-LumiNova.
The in-house Calibre 9 movement features a flying tourbillon without a bridge, with the barrel, gear train, and tourbillon aligned vertically on the dial side.
The movement's finishing, while not the most aesthetically pleasing, is considered above average and competitive for its price class.
The watch is presented with an integrated 18k yellow gold bracelet featuring Czapek's 'Easy Release' system, with alligator or rubber strap options available.
The decision to create this limited edition was influenced by a collector's vision for a unique piece, highlighting Czapek's approach of involving collectors in watch design.
