Rado has collaborated with Australian cricketer Cameron Green to create a limited edition Captain Cook watch inspired by his Test career and the sport of cricket. The watch features a green and gold color scheme with design elements referencing cricket pitches, stumps, and balls.
- Limited to 459 pieces
- Price: USD 4,700
The watch features a green gradient sunray dial designed to resemble a cricket pitch, with three yellow gold-colored dots at 12 o'clock representing stumps.
The flange includes a minutes track inspired by the stitching of a cricket ball, and the red backdrop beneath the moving anchor symbol mimics the ball.
The bezel is yellow gold-colored PVD-coated with a polished green high-tech ceramic insert and metallised markings.
The caseback is engraved with Cameron Green’s signature and "Limited Edition, One Out Of 459", with the limitation number reflecting his status as the 459th male player to represent Australia in Test cricket.
The movement, Rado calibre R763, is based on the ETA C07.611 (Powermatic 80) and features an antimagnetic Nivachron hairspring.
Wearing options include a bicolour bracelet with brushed stainless steel outer links and polished yellow gold-colored PVD-coated middle links, a green-and-yellow-gold textile NATO-style strap, and a black rubber strap.
