
Atelier de Chronométrie AdC16
Barcelona-based Atelier de Chronométrie has introduced the AdC16, their first two-counter chronograph, offering a bespoke, vintage-inspired timepiece. The watch features a customizable design built upon a heavily modified Valjoux 23 base caliber, reimagined with open-worked bridges and an instantaneous jumping minute counter.

The AdC16 features a compact 36mm Calatrava-style case in two-tone yellow gold and steel, with a black galvanic gilt-style dial and yellow gold applied markers and hands, reminiscent of a Vacheron Constantin 4072.
The movement is a redesigned Valjoux 23, featuring palladium-plated frosted bridges and mainplate, black polish, anglage, perlage, polished countersinks, straight graining, and étirage des flancs, with hand-finished bridges for the chronograph runner and minut
The watch includes an instantaneous jumping minute counter and a classic clutch, with improvements to the balance wheel and escapement inspired by marine chronometers.
The design of some bridges and levers is inspired by late 19th- and early 20th-century makers, drawing shapes from animals.
The watch is offered with a handmade two-tone beads-of-rice bracelet in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, alongside a black leather strap.
