The ADC16 is a dual-register chronograph, a departure from the brand's previous three-register rattrapantes.
The Valjoux 23 movement has been significantly modified with a new bridge design, assortment, an instantaneous minutes counter, and impressive decoration.
Customisation is a core offering of Atelier de Chronométrie, allowing collectors to commission unique pieces.
The upgraded movement features redesigned bridges, a custom balance wheel, and replaces the stock semi-instantaneous minutes counter with an instantaneous one.
The movement finishing includes thick, lustrous anglage on frosted palladium-plated bridges, some of which are new manufacture.
The case design is inspired by the Calatrava, with a two-tone configuration featuring a stainless steel midcase and 18k yellow gold bezel, chronograph buttons, crown, and case back.
The gilt dial is produced using a historical method where markings are printed onto the gilt base before galvanization, then the mask is removed to reveal the gold.
The watch offers modern conveniences such as a sapphire crystal and superior water resistance compared to vintage timepieces.
