Glashütte Original 70s Collection
Glashütte Original has revamped its Seventies collection with the new 70s line, focusing on time and date simplicity in an integrated sports watch design. This new collection features a smaller, thinner case, textured dials inspired by 1970s analogue objects, and the modern Calibre 36 movement, offering a significant upgrade in power reserve and technical features.

The new 70s collection revisits the time-and-date simplicity of earlier Seventies models, moving away from the chronograph focus of the existing Seventies Chronograph series.
The case is reduced in size and thickness compared to the previous Seventies Panorama Date, measuring 39mm x 39mm and 9.6mm thick, offering a more compact and contemporary profile.
The dials are inspired by 1970s analogue objects: 'Vinyl Record' (black), 'Tweed Amp' (brown), and 'Stereo Panel' (silvery-white), featuring an embossed hexagrid texture.
The signature Panorama Date has been replaced by a conventional date aperture at 3 o'clock, and the movement is upgraded from Calibre 39 to the modern Manufacture Calibre 36.
The 'Vinyl Record' variant features a black dial with solid white gold hands and indices, while the 'Tweed Amp' has a brown dial with 5N red gold elements, and the 'Stereo Panel' a silver dial with black-coated gold elements.
The watch incorporates Glashütte Original’s patented Groove Lock System for strap and bracelet changes, allowing for tool-free attachment and detachment.
The movement finishing visible through the caseback includes Glashütte ribbing on the three-quarter plate, a hand-engraved balance cock, and a 21-karat gold oscillating weight.
