Ming 37.06 Royal Selangor
Ming has collaborated with Malaysian pewter manufacturer Royal Selangor on a new limited edition watch, the 37.06 Royal Selangor. This partnership highlights both brands' Malaysian roots, with the watch featuring a unique hand-hammered pewter dial crafted by Royal Selangor. The dial's texture is complemented by engraved hour markers and a Ming logo on the underside of the sapphire crystal, with Super-LumiNova X1 for luminescence.

The dial is made from hand-hammered pewter by Royal Selangor, with the texture exaggerated for the size and no printing or applied markers on its surface.
Hour markers and the Ming logo are engraved and infilled with Super-LumiNova X1 on the underside of the top sapphire crystal.
The movement, Sellita SW300.M1, is customized for Ming with skeletonized and blacked-out bridges and a skeletonized, signed rotor.
All 88 pieces are assembled locally in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, a first for Ming for a collaboration.
Pewter, a tin-based alloy, is rarely used in watchmaking and is known for developing a patina over time.
The watch is presented in a special hammered pewter box made by Royal Selangor, mirroring the dial's texture.
The caseback is engraved with the wordmarks of both Ming and Royal Selangor.
The watch features a blue-grey goat leather strap by Jean Rousseau with quick-release spring bars and a micro-adjustable flying-blade buckle.
