The 39mm case, available in stainless steel or titanium, retains the architectural design of the ZM 11 but offers improved wearability and a lighter feel, especially in titanium which weighs 52 grams without the strap.
The dial removes the date window found on the ZM 11, replacing it with a recessed, snailed small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock for a more balanced layout.
The dual-layer dial construction uses two brass plates with hand-lacquered edges to create shifting shadows and color transitions, a feature particularly noticeable on certain color variants.
The automatic Leica calibre LA-3002, developed with Chronode, operates at 28,800 vph and has a quoted accuracy of -4/+6 seconds per day.
The Easy Change System, activated by a red button inspired by a camera shutter, allows for tool-free strap changes.
