Dominique Renaud, co-founder of APRP, has launched his eponymous brand with the Pulse 60, a timepiece that deliberately slows down its regulating organ to one hertz (7,200 vibrations per hour). This approach, inspired by historical marine chronometers, prioritizes stability through inertia rather than high frequency, offering a unique visual experience of the balance wheel's movement.

The Pulse 60 features an oversized 20mm balance wheel, which is the focal point of the dial, oscillating at a slow, deliberate pace.
The case design is unconventional, with integrated lugs that flow directly into the rubber strap, and the domed sapphire crystal blends seamlessly into the case without a visible bezel.
A torque indicator at 3 o'clock draws information directly from the barrel, a concept previously explored by Renaud at Renaud & Papi.
The manually wound BUA2024 calibre features a re-engineered regulating organ allowing amplitudes beyond 360 degrees.
The watch is supplied with both a pin buckle and a triple-folding clasp for the integrated rubber strap.
