Gerald Charles Masterlink Atelier Edition
The Gerald Charles Masterlink Atelier Edition features unique hand-hammered Maillechort dials, a technique that imbues each dial with an unrepeatable artisanal touch. This new iteration builds upon the brand's signature asymmetrical design, offering a blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern horology.
- Limited to 25 pieces per colourway
- 38mm steel case
- 7.99mm thin case
- Powered by the ultra-thin micro-rotor GCA 1000 movement
- 50-hour power reserve
- 100 metres of water resistance
The dials are crafted from Maillechort (German silver) and are hand-hammered by an artisan, creating a faceted, irregular texture that scatters light.
The asymmetrical case design, a final contribution from Gérald Genta, features a sweeping curve at 6 o'clock, reimagined for the Masterlink in 2024.
The case construction involves 31 distinct components with a mix of high-polished bevels and satin-brushed surfaces.
A right-hand screw-down crown with a Clous de Paris finish is integrated without affecting the case's slim profile.
The watch is available in three colourways: Golden Rose, Rhodium, and Golden Yellow.
The ultra-thin GCA 1000 movement measures 2.67mm thick and features an offset micro-rotor, hacking seconds, and Incabloc shock protection.
The integrated steel bracelet's links are designed to follow the asymmetrical case shape, with central links curving at 6 o'clock and straightening towards the clasp.
The bracelet design concept is inspired by the Sarawak, a bespoke watch Gérald Genta designed for the Royal Family of Sarawak in 2007.
