MAT Watches Egg Master II
The MAT Watches Egg Master II is a 39.5mm stainless steel dive watch that humorously repurposes its rotating bezel as an egg-cooking timer. Developed with a chef, it features specific timings for different egg preparations, with colored zones on the dial for seconds countdown. Beneath its playful concept, it boasts robust dive watch specifications and an automatic Swiss movement.

The bidirectional aluminium bezel is designed to time four egg preparations: poached, soft-boiled, medium-boiled, and hard-boiled, with specific cooking times and colored zones on the inner dial for seconds countdown.
The watch is based on MAT's Picobello case and features a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, an oversized 7.5mm screw-down crown, and a transparent screw-down caseback.
The eggshell white dial has large, black-outlined markers and broad hands treated with Super-LumiNova for legibility, with orange, green, blue, and red accents corresponding to the cooking zones.
The Soprod M100 automatic movement operates at 28,800 vibrations/hour and is a Swiss alternative to the ETA 2824 and Sellita SW200.
It comes with three straps: yellow and beige Tropic-style rubber straps, and an eggshell canvas strap.
The original Egg Master was launched almost five years prior, with this second edition being a more accomplished watch developed with chef Fabien Pairon.
