Anoma A1 Prehistoric
The Anoma A1 Prehistoric is a unique take on watchmaking, featuring a hand-engraved case texture inspired by prehistoric tools and a hand-cut sunburst dial. This "wearable timekeeping sculpture" emphasizes human craftsmanship over perfect symmetry.
- Limited to 100 pieces
- Water resistant to 50 meters
- 40-hour power reserve
The case features a hand-applied texture inspired by prehistoric tools, created by French engraver Steven Brunel, taking five hours per case.
The design concept was inspired by a Constantin Brâncuși exhibition, focusing on the raw beauty of human-made objects.
The anthracite sunburst dial has 600 hand-cut lines, with a thin layer of anthracite added to reference dark stone and flint.
The Sellita SW100 movement is a 17.5mm automatic with 25 jewels, running at 28,800 vph, with date and central seconds hands removed.
The case back features a manually engraved "shadow hand" by Steven Brunel, referencing early human signatures.
The recessed crown was also hand-finished by Brunel.
The hand-engraved case loses the slab sides and the line around the case found on previous polished models.
