To commemorate its 50th anniversary and the 100th birthday of its founder, Raymond Weil has released a limited edition Freelancer World-Traveller. This watch offers a worldtimer aesthetic with practical functionality for tracking time zones, featuring a GMT hand and a rotating city bezel.
- Limited edition of 260 pieces
- Price: CHF 3,995 / EUR 4,395 / USD 4,395 / GBP 3,895
The watch honors founder Raymond Weil's 100th birthday and the brand's 50th anniversary.
It features a world map in relief inspired by the Mercator projection, with champagne-colored topography against midnight blue oceans.
The dial includes a 24-hour day/night ring, a midnight blue city ring connected to a rotating bezel, and a framed date aperture at 6 o'clock.
Instead of the brand logo, the dial displays a decal of Mr Raymond Weil’s personal handwritten signature.
The movement, RW3230, is based on the Sellita SW330-2 GMT architecture and operates at 4Hz (28,800 vph).
It pairs an independently set GMT hand with a manually rotating city bezel for world time indication.
The case features a fluted crown and a screw-down caseback with a sapphire crystal.
The watch is presented on a midnight blue leather strap with matching top stitching and a folding clasp.
