Louis Vuitton Escale en Alaska Pocket Watch
Louis Vuitton has unveiled the Escale en Alaska, a unique pocket watch that combines a minute repeater, tourbillon, and jacquemart automaton, representing the brand's most complex pocket watch to date. This piece continues the "Escale en" series, which transforms destinations into mechanical and artistic displays, this time depicting Alaska's Margerie Glacier under the Northern Lights with intricate animations.

The watch features a jacquemart automaton with 9 animations and 17 moving elements, including a whale, orca, penguins, drifting iceberg, and opening Louis Vuitton trunks.
The dial is crafted using Grand Feu champlevé, cloisonné, and miniature enamel techniques, with 32 different enamel colors and over 35 firings.
The bezel is set with 41 baguette-cut colored sapphires, 16 baguette-cut diamonds, one LV Monogram Star-cut diamond, and 8 baguette-cut tourmalines.
The manually wound calibre LFT AU14.03 comprises 751 components and operates at 21,600 vibrations/hour.
The movement is finished with hand-bevelled interior angles, engraved bridges, polished steel components, gold wheels, gold chatons, and Côtes de Genève.
Accessories include an 18k white gold chain, a bespoke travel bag inspired by Louis Vuitton archival luggage, and a matching presentation trunk.
Time is displayed on the reverse of the watch, allowing the animated dial to be the primary focus.
The case sides are hand-engraved with Arctic-inspired motifs.
