Raymond Weil has introduced a new limited-edition Freelancer World-Traveler to commemorate the brand's 50th anniversary and the 100th birthday of its founder. This model features a bidirectional bezel for city ring operation and a stamped world map dial, differentiating it from previous GMT models in the collection.
- Limited to 260 pieces
- Price: €4,395
The watch features a bidirectional bezel for operating the city ring, a departure from the two-crown system on previous Freelancer GMT models.
The case is 40mm in diameter with a slim 10.25mm profile and a lug-to-lug measurement of 47mm.
The dial showcases a stamped, textured relief world map in a champagne color against a dark blue-gray background.
The Sellita-based RW3230 automatic movement operates at 28,800 vph, has 47 jewels, and a power reserve of approximately 56 hours.
The exhibition case back reveals the movement's skeletonized rotor, Geneva stripes, and perlage finishing, along with engravings for water resistance, 'Limited Edition,' and 'One of 260'.
The watch includes a date window at 6 o'clock with a white disc.
The reviewer noted that while the watch is slim for a worldtimer/GMT, the polished bezel is a fingerprint magnet.
It comes on a dark blue leather strap with a stainless steel folding clasp.
