Santos de Cartier Chronograph (39.8mm)
Cartier has introduced a smaller, more conventionally proportioned version of its Santos de Cartier Chronograph. This new model addresses the trend for smaller watches and offers a more balanced dial layout compared to its predecessor.
- 39.8mm case width
- 47.5mm lug-to-lug
- 11.6mm thickness
- 100m water resistance
- 47-hour power reserve
The new case measures 39.8mm wide, 47.5mm long, and 11.6mm thick, a reduction from the previous XL size of 43.3mm wide, 51.4mm lug-to-lug, and 12.5mm thick.
The chronograph pushers have been moved to a conventional placement on either side of the crown, featuring rectangular and curved shapes that match the case design.
The dial features a larger running seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock, allowing the date window to sit within it for a more balanced appearance.
Dial finishes include vertical brushing on the center and minute track, with a sunray brush on the hour chapter ring, and flashed circles around the sub-dials with an azurage finish.
The 1904-CH MC calibre is an integrated chronograph movement with a column wheel and vertical clutch, designed by Val Fleurier.
The watch is presented on a bracelet featuring Cartier's SmartLink system for easy adjustment.
