Cartier has introduced a smaller, more conventionally proportioned version of its Santos de Cartier Chronograph. This new model addresses the trend for smaller watches and offers a more balanced dial layout compared to its predecessor.

The new case measures 39.8mm wide, 47.5mm long, and 11.6mm thick, a reduction from the previous XL size of 43.3mm wide, 51.4mm lug-to-lug, and 12.5mm thick.

The chronograph pushers have been moved to a conventional placement on either side of the crown, featuring rectangular and curved shapes that match the case design.

The dial features a larger running seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock, allowing the date window to sit within it for a more balanced appearance.
