Montblanc introduces the 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen Mount Elbrouz, a worldtimer inspired by Europe's highest peak, Mount Elbrouz. This limited edition features a unique case incorporating volcanic ash and is designed for extreme conditions with its oxygen-free construction.

- Price: EUR 10,100
- 43.5mm titanium case
- 13mm thickness
- 100m water resistance
- Calibre MB 29.25 automatic movement

The case features a proprietary composite middle case made from volcanic ash, aluminised basalt fibres, calcium carbonate, and bio-sourced resin, with the outline of Mount Elbrouz engraved and filled with orange-emission Super-LumiNova.
The watch is sealed in a nitrogen-filled, oxygen-free environment to prevent moisture ingress and fogging, a feature crucial for high-altitude use.
The dial has a glacier-patterned base with a white-brown sfumato finish, and vintage design cues like elongated cathedral hands and a railway minutes track are present.
The worldtime complication uses two rotating globes depicting the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, each with a 24-hour scale and day/night indicator.
A sub-dial at 9 o'clock tracks a second time zone, set via a pusher, and the date aperture is at 3 o'clock.
The movement, calibre MB 29.25, is based on a Sellita SW 300-1 with an in-house worldtime complication module.
It comes with two interchangeable rubber straps: one light brown and one ivory, both with rope patterns.
The limited edition quantity of 829 pieces references the year 1829, when Mount Elbrouz was first summited.
