Rolex Oyster Perpetual 34 in 18k Gold
Rolex has reintroduced 34mm Oyster Perpetual models in 18k Everose or yellow gold, marking a significant shift from the collection's traditional stainless steel offerings. These new models feature lacquered dials with natural stone hour markers, aiming to reposition the entry-level watch as a compact, unisex luxury contender with a focus on brushed finishes to temper the inherent flashiness of gold.

The new gold versions of the 34mm Oyster Perpetual feature a dominant satin-brushed finish, a first for a precious metal Rolex, with mirror-polished smooth domed bezels and case flanks.
The dials are lacquered and feature hand-applied natural stone indices at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, a novel addition for the Oyster Perpetual line.
The in-house calibre 2232 movement is equipped with a silicon Syloxi hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, and is Superlative Chronometer Certified.
The Oyster bracelet on the gold models includes ceramic inserts inside the links for reduced friction.
The reintroduction of gold to the 34mm OP marks its first appearance in this size since 2001.
