The ART 02's design language is rooted in brutalist architecture and draws influence from 1970s sports watches, particularly in its octagonal, facetted titanium case.
Compared to the ART 01, the ART 02 features updated proportions, with a narrower 36mm width making the watch appear sleeker on the wrist.
The new integrated bracelet seamlessly connects to the case, continuing the visual arc across the bevelled crystal and featuring a bold, brutalist aesthetic with a brushed finish and raised facets.
The dial features a refined pattern of concentric rings with engraved grooves, and the flange-mounted time scale has been redesigned for improved readability with larger markings and discrete minute markers.
The skeletonised hands contribute to the watch's architectural vibe.
The ALTO calibre A02 movement, built by Le Cercle des Horlogers, features a micro-rotor and a signature anticlockwise rotating seconds hand, with an increased power reserve and higher beat frequency compared to the A01.
The brand was established by Thibaud Guittard, a former marketing manager for Audemars Piguet, with Raphaël Abeillon, a former watch designer at Cartier, serving as creative director.
