Atelier Pieters Atelier 1 Founders’ Series
Indie watchmaking couple Maarten and Jessica Pieters have launched their inaugural timepiece, the Atelier 1 Founders’ Series. This highly decorated watch features an in-house hand-wound movement with a tourbillon and a dual-display planetary power reserve, reflecting the couple's extensive horological experience.

The watch is available in two dial colorways: "Jour" (rose gold with blue accents) and "Minuit" (anthracite with silver accents).
The movement, calibre T2-03RM, is 36.60mm in diameter and 6.75mm thick, featuring a one-minute tourbillon with a black polished transversal bridge and a variable inertia balance wheel with 8 regulating screws.
Movement finishing includes grainage on the mainplate and bridges, hand-applied bevelling, and mirror-polished steel components.
The dual display planetary power reserve is indicated on the movement side via an arched gauge and discreetly on the dial side through a small round aperture at 3 o'clock.
The platinum case is 3-piece polished and houses a domed front sapphire crystal and a planar exhibition caseback.
The strap is 20mm handstitched ostrich foot with a platinum pin buckle.
Maarten Pieters has experience prototyping at THA and Janvier SA, contributing to the Breguet Sympathiques, and leading complications at Omega, while Jessica Pieters is a WOSTEP graduate specializing in finishing and decoration.
