
Kurono Tokyo Calendrier "Small Batch Release" in Saxe Blue
Kurono Tokyo, a brand founded by Japanese master watchmaker Hajime Asaoka, has introduced a new edition of its Calendrier triple calendar watch featuring a Saxe blue dial. This "Small Batch Release" (SBR) utilizes unallocated movements and components, driven by Asaoka's personal preference for the color.

The Saxe blue dial features vertical guilloché-inspired lines stamped across the center, with smooth recessed sub-dials for days and months, and a stepped date window at 6 o'clock.
Applied Arabic indices on the peripheral chapter ring were created using electroforming for intricate shapes.
The SBR's crown is flat and lacks the cabochon found on the anniversary edition.
The watch is powered by the Miyota 9122 automatic movement with a 4Hz frequency.
Deliveries are expected to begin in October.
