The SBGW325 is a tribute to the SBGW003 from 2001, which was the first manual-winding 9S model, and shares its case design and proportions.
The deep navy dial is inspired by Japan's traditional indigo-dyeing culture, featuring raised silver-toned Arabic numerals.
The movement is the Calibre 9S64, a descendant of the original Calibre 9S54, offering a 72-hour power reserve and an accuracy of +5 to -3 seconds per day.
The watch includes two straps: a hand-dyed blue crocodile strap and a light grey cow leather strap.
The use of Arabic numerals on a Grand Seiko dial is noted as exceptionally rare, contributing to the watch's potential cult classic status.
