Panerai has introduced the Luminor Marina PAM01707, a 44mm watch featuring a case constructed from Carbotech, a proprietary carbon composite known for its lightness and durability. This new model retains the classic Luminor Marina aesthetic with a matte black sandwich dial and is powered by the automatic P.9010 calibre.

The Carbotech case is made by bonding sheets of carbon fibre with a special resin under high heat and pressure, resulting in a unique pattern on each case.
The matte black dial is a 'sandwich' style with beige lume on a lower plate, providing depth and legibility with simple hands and markers.
The self-winding P.9010 calibre features 31 jewels, a 4Hz beat rate, and two series-connected barrels.
The watch includes a hacking seconds function, which stops the balance wheel when the crown is pulled for precise time setting.
It comes with a brown leather strap with a black DLC-coated titanium trapezoidal buckle and an additional black rubber strap.
