Neode N01 First Edition Pure Silver
Independent watchmaker Neode, founded by architect Marius-Daniel Dumitrascu, debuts with the N01 First Edition Pure Silver. This technically ambitious watch features a complex case construction by Voutilainen, a hand-finished silver dial by Les Cadraniers de Genève, and a heavily reworked Chronode movement, emphasizing architectural design principles through proportion, material, and structural details.
- Limited to 25 pieces
- Price: CHF 26,400 before taxes
- Deliveries scheduled for Q2 2027
The case features a distinctive tonneau-like profile with double curvature, tapering towards the lugs, and alternating circular/straight brushing with mirror-polished lateral surfaces.
The silver dial is divided into sectors by narrow shadow gaps, with a hand-applied grenage finish on the central section and hour ring, an azuré finish on the recessed seconds ring, and brushing on the raised minutes ring.
Hour markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9 are cut from solid blocks of ceramic Super-LumiNova, while the hands are 18ct grey gold with slate-grey ceramic Super-LumiNova inserts.
The manually wound movement features twin independent mainspring barrels and a free-sprung balance with variable-inertia weights, with bridges microbillé and treated with an anthracite galvanic finish.
The watch is fitted with an integrated rubber strap and a custom-designed titanium folding buckle.
The recessed crown is positioned within a vertical cut in the case, with a symmetrical cut on the opposite side.
A discreet teal power-reserve indicator is recessed into a shadow gap at 12 o'clock.
