Reverso Tribute Enamel ‘Turner Series’
Jaeger-LeCoultre has launched the Reverso Tribute Enamel ‘Turner Series’, a collection of four unique timepieces inspired by the paintings of J.M.W. Turner, specifically his depictions of Venice. These watches are part of the brand's participation in the Homo Faber Biennale, an exhibition celebrating craftsmanship.
- Limited to 10 pieces each
- Price on request
Each of the four watches features a micro-painting on the caseback inspired by a specific J.M.W. Turner painting of Venice.
The dial on the reverse side of the watch features a soleil guilloché pattern.
The paillonage technique, using silver foil beneath enamel, is employed to create a realistic texture for the water in the painted scenes.
The watches are available with green or blue alligator straps, with the green mirroring the water in the 'Venice, the Dogana and San Giorgio Maggiore' piece.
The movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vph (3 Hz).
