Sylvain Pinaud Tourbillon
Swiss independent watchmaker Sylvain Pinaud has announced his third major creation, the Sylvain Pinaud Tourbillon, a complication-based evolution of his earlier Origine series. Limited to 30 pieces across three variations, the watch features a tourbillon where the Origine's balance wheel previously sat, maintaining a familiar asymmetrical dial layout but with added depth and stone accents. All three limited editions sold out within days of their announcement.

- Price: CHF 180,000
- 39mm case
- 11.2mm thickness

- 30-second tourbillon
The Tourbillon shares a general look with the Origine series, featuring an asymmetrical dial layout with the tourbillon positioned where the Origine's balance wheel was located.
Two variations are in platinum with either a white dial and white opal center or a black dial with an onyx center, while the third is in titanium with a silvered hours track surrounding a white agate center.
The dial design incorporates different elevations for the center stone, hours ring, minutes track, and small seconds subdial, accented by black-polished steel components.
The watch features a zero-reset complication for the small seconds hand, activated by a hammer mechanism when the crown is pulled.
The tourbillon cage is made of titanium and completes a rotation in 30 seconds, running at 3 Hz.
Despite the complex caliber, the 39mm case is 1mm smaller in diameter than the Origine and only 0.2mm thicker.
The brand name "Sylvain Pinaud" is engraved along the periphery of the base movement plate, with "Hand Made" removed from the main dial.
