Australian strap specialist Artem has updated its Classic two-piece HydroFlex strap collection, incorporating improvements from its Loop-less V2 line. The new V2 Classic HydroFlex features an all-FKM-rubber construction, replicating the look of Artem's popular sailcloth straps while offering enhanced comfort and flexibility. This evolution aims to provide collectors with the aesthetic appeal of sailcloth combined with the practical benefits of modern rubber materials.

The V2 Classic HydroFlex straps utilize an all-FKM-rubber construction, a departure from the hybrid FKM rubber and sailcloth layer of the first generation, aiming for a sleeker profile and greater flexibility.
The design retains the visual appeal of Artem's sailcloth straps by replicating the texture on the FKM rubber surface.
The collection is available in five colors: Dark Matter (black rubber, black stitching), Event Horizon (black rubber, white stitching), Cosmic Tide (blue rubber, white stitching), Blood Moon red, and Nova Light white.
Strap widths range from 19-23mm for Dark Matter, Event Horizon, and Cosmic Tide, and 19-22mm for Blood Moon red and Nova Light white.
Hardware options include stainless steel and black DLC-coated stainless steel, with a redesigned tang buckle featuring a wider pin and a combination of brushed and polished finishes.
The straps are designed with a subtle taper toward the buckle to help them wrap naturally around the wrist, and feature quick-release spring bars for easy strap changes.
The Classic two-piece configuration is offered for collectors who prefer the simplicity of a traditional pin buckle, which allows watches to sit closer to the wrist, especially beneficial for dress watches and vintage pieces.
