Henri Grandjean Magician Atrivm Red & Green Sapphire
Henri Grandjean has expanded its Magician Atrivm collection with two new models featuring sapphire crystal cases in red or green. These watches showcase the in-house calibre 1831, a hand-wound movement with an architectural construction and a prominent triple-axis tourbillon.
- 45mm x 16mm case dimensions
- 30m water resistance
- 40-hour power reserve
- 3Hz beat rate
- Price: CHF 900,000 (for other versions)
The Magician Atrivm features a triple-axis tourbillon with sapphire disks connecting the cage to the movement, designed to counteract gravity's effects on the escapement.
The triple-axis tourbillon's cages rotate every 10 seconds (inner, magnesium), 18 seconds (middle, titanium), and 1 minute (outer, titanium/steel blend).
The dial features a Grand Feu enamel time disk in a color matching the sapphire case, floating above the movement, with a date wheel and day/night indicator below.
The case shape is described as simple and not overengineered, a notable characteristic for sapphire crystal cases.
The movement's construction is described as architectural, with stacked elements creating a sense of depth.
Other versions of the Magician Atrivm have been priced at CHF 900,000, suggesting a high-end positioning for these new models.
