Biver has introduced the 'AB', a new manually-wound watch in stainless steel, designed in response to customer demand for a more accessible piece. It features a proprietary gold movement with a significant power reserve and a distinctive multi-level gold dial.
- Price: CHF 68,000
- 38mm stainless steel case
- ± 120 hours power reserve
- 80 meters water resistance
- Not limited in edition
The case design features brushed and polished geometric angular lugs reminiscent of Patek Philippe references 3448 or 3450.
The dial is a multi-level gold construction with a grained central texture, 2N gold metallicized indices, and an onyx stone ring for the hour and minute track.
The proprietary caliber JCB-004 is developed in collaboration with Le Cercle des Horlogers and is made of gold, a core tenet of the brand.
The movement includes two barrels in series, a distinctive winding system with strong resistance, and a zero-reset mechanism for accurate time setting.
A power reserve indication is present on the dial via a moving pin.
The watch comes with Biver's angular bracelet featuring a patented micro-adjust system activated by two push buttons.
The watch wears well on the wrist, appearing visually closer to a 36mm case size due to the bezel.
