Breitling has expanded its core collection with two new manual-wind Navitimer chronographs, the B09 Chronograph 41 and the B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute. Both models feature 41mm stainless steel cases and draw inspiration from 1960s designs, including the return of the Twin Jet logo. The B09 offers a classic aviation chronograph with a reverse-panda dial, while the B02 Cosmonaute features a 24-hour display, referencing Breitling's history in early spaceflight.
- 41mm stainless steel case
- Manually wound manufacture movements
- Approximately 70 hours of power reserve
- COSC-certified
- Water resistance to 30 meters
The Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 features a reverse-panda dial, while the B02 Chronograph 41 Cosmonaute includes a 24-hour display for distinguishing day and night, a feature adapted for astronaut Scott Carpenter in 1962.
Both new models incorporate the Twin Jet logo, originally introduced in 1957 and first appearing on the Navitimer dial in 1965, serving as a nod to 1960s designs.
The B09 movement is new to the Navitimer core collection, previously being reserved for limited editions, and it lacks a date display.
The B02 Cosmonaute's black dial features contrasting white chronograph counters and a discreet date display integrated into the lower subdial, matching the dial color for symmetry.
Both movements utilize a column wheel and vertical clutch for chronograph control and are COSC-certified.
The B09 Chronograph 41 is inspired by Navitimers associated with racing drivers Jim Clark and Graham Hill.
Prices range from €7,450 for the B09 on leather to €10,300 for the B02 Cosmonaute on a stainless steel bracelet.
