Favre Leuba Chief Skeleton
Favre Leuba has introduced its first-ever skeletonized watch, the Chief Skeleton, reinterpreting a 1970s classic with a modern, technical aesthetic. The watch is nominated for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2026 in the Challenge Watch category and is available in seven variations, featuring either steel cases with gold-tone movements or black DLC-treated steel cases with black chrome-finish movements.
- Available in steel with gold-tone movement or black DLC steel with black chrome-finish movement
- 100m water resistance
- 41-hour power reserve
The Chief Skeleton features a 40 × 11.76mm case with distinct 1970s inspiration, available in seven variations.
Three variations have steel cushion-shaped cases and gold-tone skeletonized movements priced at €4,000 / US$4,500 / £3,450.
Four variations are in black DLC-treated steel cases with black chrome-finish movements priced at €4,100 / US$4,600 / £3,550.
The case design highlights a lively interplay between brushed surfaces and polished accents, with a retro-futuristic shape.
The watch features a screw-down crown and a seamless lug design, paired with a case-fitted FKM rubber strap with quick-release pins.
The skeletonized automatic caliber FLS01 was developed in collaboration with Manufacture AMT, Sellita's sister company.
The movement has a multilayered construction, with the balance wheel at 6 o'clock and an openworked barrel showing the mainspring.
Geometric, 4N-gold-plated bridges feature contrasting surfaces and finishes, and the rotor visible through the case back is also openworked.
